We started Grim Cult Society somewhere between late-night horror films, nervous laughter, and the realization that horror is a lot more human than people give it credit for.
Dan has loved horror for most of his life.
Angela avoided it for most of hers.
Now we spend our nights somewhere in the middle. Watching films, reading strange stories, talking too long after the credits roll, and slowly building a world around the things that stay with us.
Grim Cult Society is our corner of that world.
Right now, that mostly means conversations about horror films, television, books, atmosphere, filmmaking, and the strange comfort the genre can bring when it is done well. Sometimes thoughtful. Sometimes ridiculous. Usually both.
Behind it all is Tzafun House, our long-term production banner and the home for the films, stories, and projects we are creating together.
We are still early in all of this.
That is part of the fun.
Thanks for being here.
